The Boys & Girls Clubs Alaska
Our mission is to empower and inspire the diverse youth of Alaska to reach their full potential by offering them hope, opportunity, and a safe environment. Clubs are working to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to achieve our priority outcomes, which are academic success, character and leadership and healthy lifestyles.
After finishing school in the Seattle area Chef Al moved to Anchorage in 1984. During his 30 year tenure he made his mark in three area hotels: the Clarion Hotel, the Hotel Captain Cook and the Alyeska Prince Hotel. Al was the opening Chef for Glacier Brewhouse in 1996. Al then moved on to own and operate Kincaid Grill and Bridge Seafood in 2003 and 2011, respectively. In 2013, Chef Al relocated to Santa Rosa California and still remains active in day to day operations of his Anchorage area restaurants.
