Chef
Nate Bentley
A homegrown talent, Chef Nate Bentley was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from UAA’s Culinary Arts program from a full ride scholarship he received through the Anchorage South Rotary Club. With 15 years in this fast-paced industry he prides himself of obtaining the title of Executive Chef at the young age of 24. His innate skills and love for the craft led him to receive James Beard nominations in 2022 and 2023 for Best Chef Northwest. Nate is the Chef and Owner of Altura Bistro in midtown Anchorage. In their almost four years the Bistro has received many accolades from top 15 restaurant in the country by Yelp, to multiple Wine Spectator awards.
