Born and raised in Alaska, Nancy began her culinary journey at the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. She completed her internship and early career work at The Captain Cook Hotel before joining Jens’ in 2002. For ten years, she worked closely with Jens, helping shape the restaurant’s signature style and spirit. After his passing, Nancy carried that legacy forward as owner, blending Jens’ classic approach with her own creative vision to keep the menu fresh, inspired, and ever evolving. She retired from Jens in 2025, leaving behind a lasting imprint on the restaurant and the community it serves.
